Accessibility and Getting to Avi's Campaign Office
Our campaign office at 1250 Hornby Street is wheelchair accessible. There are multiple curb cuts nearby, and HandyDART vehicles can deploy a ramp directly to the sidewalk when space permits. The entrance has only a minimal lip that should not impede wheelchair users. Inside, the washroom includes a handbar and offers sufficient space and clearance for most mobility devices.
By Transit
The office is highly accessible by public transit:
-
Bus:
- #6 Davie stops one block north on Davie Street.
- #2 and #44 run two blocks west on Burrard Street (to Downtown, UBC, and the West Side).
- Several other routes serve Granville Street, three blocks east.
-
SkyTrain:
- Yaletown–Roundhouse Station (Canada Line) is a 6-minute walk (500m), with direct service to Downtown, Broadway, Richmond, and YVR.
- Burrard Station (Expo Line) is also walkable or a short bus ride away.
By Bike
Hornby Street has a fully separated, protected bike lane directly in front of the office. Cyclists are welcome—we have indoor space for secure bike storage during the event.
By Car
Street parking is limited and metered. There are several passenger loading zones along Hornby Street, suitable for quick drop-offs or HandyDART access. Public parkades are nearby. Weekend availability is generally better, but we recommend transit, walking, or biking if possible.
Additional Notes
- N95 masks are be available for anyone who wants one. Masks are not required.
- Construction: There is ongoing construction and demolition activity in the area, but this is expected to be paused or minimal on Sunday.
