(So ....) with Trump saying he wants to make us the 51^st state, we think it's time to double down on what makes us Canadian by funding and expanding public healthcare, not cutting it while increasing corporate welfare which has nearly tripled under the Liberals.

Note: Under Harper, corporate subsidies hit $14 billion annually. Under the Liberals they have ballooned to over $40 billion. (That's more than $1000 per Canadian spent on corporate welfare bums annually while the rest of us deal with a cost of living crisis). Mark Carney was a corporate executive who provided economic advice to Trudeau during COVID, which saw massive increases to corporate subsidies while average folks were under-supported, especially renters and frontline workers. Even just returning to Harper-era levels of corporate giveaways leaves us with tens of billions of dollars that we could invest in Canadians.
